  1. He's got some good videos. Had some free time at work and watched 5-6. I'm ready to go try some of his suggestions on setups.

Sons batting practice is getting in the way of my gaming time. LOL

lol I really like his videos, I've seen Driftors too but I prefer ahoy's.
  2. Not really. There's plenty of teams out there with no regional titles, even more with no state final appearances. I just don't see them being all that great this season. I think Williamsburg is the team to beat in the east.

All I'm saying is just because the haven't won one, you shouldn't rule them out..

  3. No one is debating Manning as a great QB. You've backed yourself into a debate that you don't want. Your points hold no logic. Obviously postseason wins mean something, duh. Super Bowl rings also mean something. Yes the regular season means something but not as much.

Let me throw this at you. In the 90's baseball had the Atlanta Braves and the New York Yankees. If you ask people who the best was they would probably say the Yankees.

Braves won 9 straight division titles and 1 World Series.

The Yankees won a few titles and won 2, maybe 3, World Series (if I'm not mistaken).

Braves are like Manning dominating regular seasons but fizzling during the postseason, the Yankees had similar regular success but had a lot more postseason success.

my points hold no logic? Peyton Manning has a won a Super Bowl. If we're saying because Tom Brady has 3 that makes him better than Manning I don't know why we're even having this conversation because Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montanna are the greatest alive because they have 4?

So Lebron James is nothing compared to Kobe then, right? Where's your logic?

  4. You can make a legit argument that Manning is better than Brady, you'd be wrong, but at least you can make the argument. However, to say the above shows 1 of 2 things to be true. Either 1) you don't actually follow the NFL, or 2) you just like stirring the pot and don't really believe what you're saying.
Ofcourse Tom Brady is good, but if I were to pick a top 5, which I'm sure no one would care about, it would include Joe Montanna, Peyton Manning, Dan Marino, John Unitas, and John Elway.

I can argue this because Terry Bradshaw won more SB's than anyone but he wouldn't make a lot of peoples top 5, am I right in saying that?

  5. No one wins meaningless games as well as Peyton Manning. Put him on a stage where the games have real meaning and he's average at best. That is the one and only reason necessary as to why people should say Brady is better.

Manning in his career is 9-11 in the postseason....He's been a "one & done" postseason QB 8 times. 8 TIMES!

Tom Brady has won more postseason games than any QB in NFL history.

    Stupid debate over.

Lol postseason games do not defy a great qb, sure, they're great to have, but they do not make a great qb. Is Jim Kelly better than Dan Marino because he has more playoff wins?

The playoff wins are the only thing people like you have to fall back on. Over all stats, MVP's, and how valuiable they are to their team, Manning takes it everytime.

So maybe your stupid debate with yourself is over but I'm still going on.

Tom Brady IS NOT even top 5 best QBs of all time.

  6. You just lost all creditability.

I have no problem with people picking Manning. I have no problem with people picking Brady. I can see why someone would choose either but to say one's not in the same league as the other is just plain silly. Particularly when one runs circles around the other in winning when it counts.

And why no reply to my post about their injury seasons, that ?

I would like your insight on that. Is Matt Cassel in Bradys League?

  7. You just lost all creditability.

I have no problem with people picking Manning. I have no problem with people picking Brady. I can see why someone would choose either but to say one's not in the same league as the other is just plain silly. Particularly when one runs circles around the other in winning when it counts.

Oh no, Ive lost all creditability with 75center.

I've listed plenty of reasons why he's not in the same league with Manning. The only reason people consider Brady as a legend is because of the superbowls, if he would have played 15 years and never won one, nobody would care. If Manning played 15 and never won one, he would still be conseidered one of the best.

Tom Brady can't even beat Eli.

  8. The reason why I hate threads like these is because it leads to folks feeling the need to disparage one player in the name of another.

Brady and Manning are both great- probably all time top 10 QBs on any objective list. If we are looking for a separator, is Superbowl wins a bad one? Is MVPs a better one? Now we start getting into the subjective.

Facts are what they are. Manning played with more Pro Bowl offensive players than Brady. Brady has a historically better coach than any of Manning's.

They both can be great- it does not have to be a dichotomy. If the question is why do most favor Brady over Manning, I think it has to do with rings and head to head record. That being said, could you go wrong with either one in their prime?

Peyton Manning is the type of player that would have made any team in the NFL a playoff team in his prime, which from the stats I think he's still in his prime. I don't think that would be the case for Brady, he is a product of the system. The year Brady got hurt Matt Cassel came in and looked amazing, even earned himself a nice starting spot in KC.... and has looked nothing but awful the entire time since. The same thing would have happend to Brady if they had decided to start Drew Bledsoe after he came back from his injury, Tom Brady would have went to Buffalo or somewhere, played a few seasons and we would have never heard from him again.

  9. So Mannin didn't have a good team? Stokley, Harrison, Wayne, Clark, James?

He had more offensive tools than Brady did at the time.

Manning made those players better. Reggie wayne had 7 1k yard receiving seasons in a roll with Manning, the season Manning got hurt he failed to reach 1k yards receiving and scored 5 tds I think it was?

And how about Edge, he was amazing when he was playing with Manning and the went to the Cardinals..... can't really remember him don anything there??

Its funny how these players have good seasons with Manning.

  10. We could play that game all day. What has Manning done to make you take him over Brady?

Tom Brady goes out first game of the season and the Patriots go 11-5 and make the playoffs. Peyton Manning goes out before the season and the Colts go 2-14 and have to rebuild their entire team.

I have no problem with people picking Brady, but he's not even in the same league as Manning.

Imo, Kurt Warner is better than Tom Brady.

  11. Not me. Brady is good, but he wasn't always as good as he was several years ago.

Brady fell into the perfect position with the Patriots. HE is a good QB, don't get me wwrong, but when they won the SB's it wasn't because of Brady, it was because of their defense. Brady has been getting the accolades for their SB wins and although he did nothing wrong and did nothing to lose those games for him early on, he wasn'tt as good as he was when he broke records in his 16-0 season.

The last couple years in big games Brady looked horrible yet never gets blamed for their losses. In his last SB against the Giants he looked like crap and his throws weree horrible but because he is Brady the blame went to his recievers. Even Welkerr was blamed for the drop towards the end of that game but if you remember tthe 3-4 throws before that were all behind receivers etc. and the one Welker gets blaamed for was behind him and if he came down with the catch it would of been considered a great catch due to the bad throw.

Manning has always been the better passer and more cerebral QB.

I could not agree more. Brady was in the right place right time kinda situation, the defense kept them in super bowls and Vinnatiari won them.
