  1. I have also learned the following:

    1. Bart Brunner will serve as Defensive Coordinator

    2. Todd Walsh will remain on coaching staff.

    3. Stefan Lefores will leave Christian Academy for position at UofL.

    4. Mike Glasier will go to Christian Academy.

    Markl it down . . .

  2. It all starts with the AD. And he is no CM Newton . . .

Two ships, both painted green...both beautiful, powerful, well built over the years, and seemingly unsinkable...both sailing in the deepest of waters...

One ship, we'll call her "Our Lady of T" got a little off course last season, but never took on water and continues to plow ahead, undeterred...

The other ship, we'll call her the "S.X. Minnow" has holes everywhere, has no discernible charted path, and a crew where the "owners" of the ship threw a 30 year veteran captain overboard in favor of a new captain who learned to sail in a bathtub...and now is throwing new crew members overboard and hauling old one's up out of the water...

St. X better figure things out quick or their glorious program is going to sink...and FAST

  3. I was just there Saturday and there was not even a hint or rumor of changes. School is back in and lifting is going on so you would think that this type of info would be out.

Seems like this is another of the long list of "rumors" that are started with no credible background.

    :walk:

  4. In keeping with the ongoing tradition of "The best QB in Northern Kentucky", why don't we just have a Northern Kentucky All-State team? Of course it would really be a All-Northern Kentucky team, just don't tell anyone!!!! But really folks, its hard to put these list together and be on target across the board. I live in Jefferson County, I watched a little football this past season, but I cant tell you who the best 30 players are in the Louisville metro area.... There will always be super kids left off the list, its unfortunate. If there are 5 different All-State teams, so what. If that allows more kids the recognition they deserve, then so be it. If each "All-State Team" listed the criteria for selection, then maybe we can understand some of the selection process/results. I really don't think the process will change much. Good first lesson for young kids to know that life is not fair!!!!

  5. I think what was stated is Fact. Your interpretation on the facts is up to you. Has nothing to do with X. Just a reflection on some of the of individuals that are products of the T program. Nuff said. . .

Can't even have a thread in the college football forum without it turning into a T versus X peeing match.
  6. Is it just me or is there a trend of players from shelbville road that have problems with following rules in college? Hatcher at UK, another kid a few years ago at Ohio St. and the Patrino kid at Arkansas ??? Just saying the track record is getting a negative slope. I totally disagree that this type of behaviour is "accecpted" and "expected" from good recruits.

  7. I would imagine that he will stay and graduate with a St. Xavier diploma. That speaks volumes over championships and any other HS diploma!

These seniors conclude their high school careers with -0- championship rings. Nagle's old school was buried in the Tennessee playoffs. It will be interesting to see if he stays around to graduate or if he returns to Memphis.
