  1. When Coach Allison took over at Clark Co. that was one of the nicest playing surfaces in the State. Smooth infield, homeplate cutout at home to blend in with the field. Class act all the way around. been there a couple of times since and its not so much of what it used to be when he was there.

  2. According to the case book the correct ruling on a blarge and one.. You count the basket call a double foul and give the ball to the other team from point of interruption.........4.19.8. A1 and B1 foul each other at the same time. Contact occurs during (a) live ball situation or (b) dead ball situation.... Ruling in (a) it's a double personal foul and in (b) it's a double technical... No free throws are awarded in A or B and play resumes from point of interruption.

  3. Had this very situation in game mentioned above also. Was called O&B but didn't appear the inbounding team had possession ball was batted away into the backcourt

It is O&B reason being if all 10 players are in front court. The offensive team has already established team control. So if the offensive team is taking the ball out of bounds and they try to throw it long and the offensive team touches the throw and it goes into back court it is O&B....That's gonna be a tough one for coaches to understand but that is the rule...

  4. Good Game...Paris had more penalty yards in one game than I have ever seen. I hate to be the one to say this cause I know Paris is trying to get that winning tradition back but evidently Nicholas Co. is the best team they have played this year by far or Nicholas had Paris scouted really well..Paris just didn't seem that good to me so makes me think of going back and looking at there schedule they really haven't played anybody with the caliber team that Nicholas co had.. All in All a Win is a Win..Congrats go out to the Undefeated Hounds.

  5. I know that does sound strange but Nicholas Co. Never has done things that you would think would be smart..come to find out they pay 7 athletic directors 2 principals at elementary 2 principals at high school the cheerleading sponsor who acts as athletic director and Coach Hopkins and Coach Letcher who share the responsibilities. So to answer your last statement... It's no surprise what Nicholas Co. Does

  6. According to some of his softball girls at Montgomery he told them that he was done after this yr. and would be moving on. He's already retired so this would just be extra income and getting a pretty good softball program at Nicholas. And with Marty Feltner as principal at Nicholas and them being the great friends they are so it's a very good chance he would leave.

  7. Heard today that Cody and Barr have pulled there names from the hat as far as coaching next yr. don't know a whole lot of detail. Speculation and rumor is the principal is good friends with Bart Rison from Montgomery Co. he would come in as head Boys basketball, girls softball and athletic director. Possibly holding out for as much money as he can. Basketball will not be very good this yr. at all.

  8. Reinhardt did land a job at Holmes as Feshman coach and an Asst. Nicholas has still not hired but Cody from Paris interviewed and there was some speculation that the principal who has Montgomery Co ties is trying to Get Bart Rison to come and take the boys job, the girls softball job which was vacated and also be athletic director. Not sure what direction Nicholas Co. Is going in.

  9. The catcher caught the ball and tried to apply the tag. So, did the runner really hinder the throw and/or catch? He didn't hestitate when making the throw. I thought he made a great throw and play. Ultimately, I thought what allowed the runner to be called safe was how the ball checked up and bounced slow and high instead of skipping to the catcher.

The batter is who I was saying interfered cause he was standing up the first base line in foul territory with both arms up looking like a cutoff man. That's where I thought they could've got the interference.
