Omg!

I picked the ring up today and it was put back together and cleaned. They gave me another appraisal for fair market value of $1,500. I took it to Herzog to make sure it was put back together right and it was. Both jewelers agree on the fair market value. Sent Herzog flowers for going above and beyond. Whew!

Update--first appraisal took one day to come back. The second one took three weeks. When I went to pick the ring and appraisal up from the second jeweler they had taken all the diamonds and one sapphire out?? I immediately took it back to Herzog and they were stunned. Apparently the prongs are damaged.

So I took Herzogs appraisal, along with Richters, and the ring and removed stones to the owner. I explained the situation and how unhappy I was that the appraisal came back at $500 and that they removed stones and it took three weeks to get it back. He said he felt the appraisal seemed low and he would adjust it to $1,000!? He said he would put the ring back together but it take til Monday or Tuesday. He was going to check to see why it took three weeks and why the stones were removed.

When I pick it up next week I am going to take it back to Herzogs and have them look at it. Hereof has been extremely kind and helpful!! They are top notch

My sister and I received our mothers cocktail ring in the inheritance. I took it to two different jewelers for appraisals. The first one came back at $2,650.00 and the second one came back at $500.00? How do I know which is right? Both I thought were creditable jewelers---not the mall store. First appraisal was in ft. Mitchell and second was done in downtown cincinnati. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I should do. Each jeweler have charged me $75 for the appraisal.

It's a weird yahoo email thing. The actual yahoo email app should be working. If you try and use the original email app there is some trouble with it.

When I go to see if I have any new ones it says "the connection to the server failed"

I am not able to get my yahoo emails on my iPhone or I pad. I went to Verizon and they said a lot of people are having the same problem. They said is I download the yahoo app and sign in, that would work. Well I did and it's still not working. Is any one else having this problem. It's been three days since I've been able to check my email.
