This is just off the top of my head. I am sure there are others injured as well. This is going to be a very long rest of the season for Walton. 
 

Also all injuries mentioned are season ending. 

Walton down the starting QB and back up QB.  

Waltons line was exposed on both sides of the ball. Zero pressure on defense and no running lanes or time created on the offensive side. 

I believe they have enough teams to qualify for khsaa starting next year. It is the fastest growing sport in the US right now. I think they are where soccer was 20 years ago. I think in another 20 years they have a chance to be quite large. 

Looks like the role players stepped up tonight. Key to a good team. 

The takes that Grant county fans were not yelling at Walton players and coaches just is not true. The bald man in the grey shirt that looked like he may have a heart attack the whole game was cussing at them very aggressively after the game as well as the man two rows behind him and the man in the tan flannel shirt behind the Grant bench. Of course it is not all fans but just those three only makes your program look crappy. As for the comment about competition of high school sports please check my other comments.  I understand why grant was pumped this don’t happen for them much lately. Again don’t aim it at players as a grown man it makes your fan base look like losers in life even if you win the game. 
 

As for the game Walton was out coached. Grant made halftime adjustments Walton did not and the numbers speak for themselves in the second half. I do agree with the post earlier about Hammond I really thought he had a 15 and 10 night then you see the stats and it kind of blows you away. 

Just a little history on this rivalry in the big three sports over the past ten years. 
Basketball Walton has won 10 times four coming in district play. Grant has won 7 times with 2 in district play counting last night. 
Football Walton is 4-0 vs Grant. They don’t play every year. 
Baseball Walton has 17 wins Grant has 8. 
Also if you cut this to 5 years it goes even more into Walton’s favor. So I can see why the game feels like game 7 of the World Series for the Grant fans.  But I will never give a pass for yelling at high school kid’s playing a game. As an adult you should have more self control.

My solution is to shake hands BEFORE the game, wish everyone good luck, stay healthy and then play. Once game is over losers head to the locker room and winners can revel in their victory.

I agree with this. The problem from this game is the kids are the only ones who showed any maturity and respect for the game. The adults were the clear problem.

Talking with players the Grant assistant coach was yelling to the Grant fans I told you the suck as he was going through the handshake line. The Walton coaches had an issue with that as they should. 
I just could never foresee a Walton parent yelling at high school kids playing a game like that. If Walton would have won and Hammond was crying on the court I am pretty sure he would have got a standing ovation for a career well played. I am just super disgusted by grown people yelling at kids who are playing their hearts out. It was a hard fought game both teams deserved respect and Walton got zero from Grant fans. 
Also try cleaning up after yourself’s. The amount of trash left in the stands from Grant was crazy. Not to hard to take it with you as you leave.

Grant fans are completely pathetic yelling at the Walton kids after the game screaming at Krohman as he is crying because he just played his last game. Grown adults get ahold of yourselves. Embarrassing as a program. 

Breeden is the best player for Grant. Straight scorer and can create his own shot. 

The big kid for Grant is killing them on the defensive side for sure. Grant is trading 2’s for 3’s in the second quarter. 

Walton seemed to rule the rebounding in the first quarter

Gutman 4 fouls early in the third on let’s say questionable calls at best. He was dominant before that.

unfortunate situation right before halftime Krohman came down on a foot and looked to hurt his ankle. Also two fouls on Dixon who basically did not play the whole first half and two fouls on Gutman who didn’t play the second quarter.
