  1. I have to disagree Rookie57. Tilghman has lost 2 games. To Mayfield, who, arguably played its best game of the year and Evansville Reitz, a Top 5 4a team in Indiana. Neither of those 2 losses are what I'd consider a bad loss. They've also hammered 2 solid teams in Ft Campbell and Lone Oak and a better than there record, Graves Co.. They may be, if anything, a little underrated. I fully expect them to make a deep 3a run.
    Agree 2 times.
  2. The Tilghman-Lone Oak game was an anomaly, given that Lone Oak lost two of their best players two days before the game and all the publicity that went with it.

Central "squeaked by" a team that is ranked in the 6A polls and lost by three points to Manual. I guess I'm more impressed by that than you are.

I agree, Central defending class 3A champion, plays top notch competition.
  3. Falcons take this one.

It will be nice to go to a new stadium for a game - have driven past the Russellville stadium for years, but have never been there for a game.

The Falcons are only limited by themselves, superb athletes and one of the top coaches in the state. Will they show up and play a full game of disciplined football? That is the question.

I agree with take on Falcons. I attended game in Russellville last season playoff game; Paducah Tilghman vs Russellville, unique stadium. I'll be in attendance.
  4. It ought to be interesting to see them against Apollo. I’m not too excited about Kenwood since they have played them the last two years. I really wanted to see them scrimmage Clarksville Academy. Regardless I’m looking forward to see how they are shaping up this year.
I agree, with some former falcon coaches at CL/Academy. Scrimmage last night was impressive.
  5. What does Fort Campbell need to do to improve in
    2011?
What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

2011 season will be interesting moving up to class 3A. Looking forward to who'll be on the Falcons schedule.
  6. Laying 48 points on the Birds defense (who have given up around 200-210 all year) would be quite an accomplishment. Can't see that happening. If the Birds' D can contain CC's QB and make him beat them with his arm vs. his legs, Highlands will be bringing the trophy home tomorrow night.
You are on point, CC's QB plus Bubba Tandy play in another gear. But my prediction is gut feeling. Good luck to both programs.
