  1. Typical Clark County statement. But go ahead, continue to doubt Mason or even Shelby Valley for that matter. GRC beat Ballard and Mason beat GRC, so Ballard or Scott County winning this tourney is in no way a foregone conclusion. Are they the favorites? Yes, without a doubt. But I guarantee you one thing. The runner-up, regardless of whom it may be, will not be leaving this trophy in the locker room. The real championship will still be played on saturday night, as usual.

All I can say is completly agree!!!

  2. How many players off the 2005 Pendleton County Wildcats make the 10th region Hall of Fame?

A case could be made for all named

    Tyler Mains

    Mason O'Hara

    Patrick Elliott

    John Elrod

I would have to think Keaton Belcher is an absolute lock and the only reason he didn't go in this year was because of him still playing. Will the fact Pat Elliott only played two years in the 10th hurt him, or will being named 10th region MVP put him over the top?

  3. Using the latest Cantrell, for example, you would have something like:

    1. Scott Co.

    16. East Carter

    8. Corbin

    9. Shelby Co.

    5. West Jessamine

    12. North Hardin

    4. Christian Co.

    13. Muhlenburg Co.

    -----------------------------------

    3. Ballard

    14. Butler

    6. Mason Co.

    11. Paducah T.

    7. Warren Central

    10. Knott Co. Cent.

    2. Shelby Valley

    15. Newport

I actually kind of like this!

  4. My prediction:

If Clark County wins, the vast majority of the Mason County fans will say congratulations and represent the 10th well at Rupp.

If Mason County wins, the vast majority of the Clark County fans will something wrong with the popcorn, the parking, the bus ride, the lack of pork chops, the people sitting behind the bench, the incredible home-court advantage... :D

Probaly the best post I have seen on this site ever!!!

    Anyway my prediction

    GRC: 57

    MC:54

As much as I hate this score this is what I think on the other hand GO ROYALS

  5. So you don't think Scott is the 2nd best team in the region? What tourney have you been watching? If the refs don't get their 2 cents in today, Clark is beat by Scott. If Mason beats Pendleton and gets to play Clark and they stay within 10 points, I hope you DOG me on here as much as you want and I will PM you and tell you how sorry I am and how right you are. :thumb: But I don't think I have anything to worry about.

Surely Not! Scott is a very impressive team. But second in the region is little much. Playing at the fieldhouse when Mason is playing, The bacon is in the frying pan before the game starts:lol::banana:

  6. Chris O'Hearns coaching decision was an absolute JOKE! I have never been an O'Hearn fan but what he did today makes me sick. Blueford has carried this team after everybody got hurt and didn't even see the court in the second half of region! Blueford got real close to ending his basketball career tonight by WATCHING the second half? Chris O'Hearn are you serious? Yes, you will say it was matchups but them guard also have to guard Blueford on the other end. Tonight he missed 1 shot and got the rebound and put it back after he missed it, the guys guarding him came up to his shoulders. That was a huge a mismatch. But now they are just going to use Blueford they could get by without him tonight so that is what they did. Just like if nobody had ever got hurt Blueford would of never seen the court. He isn't one of their "favorites." Yes, it is this awful and the fans even started a chant trying to get him put in the game. You best bet he will be playing a lot in that Clark Co. game tho(if both teams advance) because they will have to have his length to even have a shot. If any Mason Co. fan including you bigblueinsanity want to take up for O'Hearn on this then you need to take off your O'Hearn classes and wake up. I feel so sorry for the kid, as he was pretty much in tears on the bench as he was close to watching his career end. Chris O'Hearn again, YOU ARE A JOKE!

Well, for some odd reason I dont believe you are a Royal fan.

  7. On a side note, I heard on the radio that Mason Co. raised almost $25,000.00 tonight with the chili supper and silent auction for their team manager who is battling cancer. It sounds like their biggest accomplishment took place off the court and had nothing to do with basketball. Good luck to the Murphy family and get well Kenton!!!
