  1. And ESPN has been making cuts left and right all year long. Not saying Gruden was on the chopping block, but you never know. He may have just saved a few jobs for other folks at ESPN though.

Maybe not if ESPN decides to go after a Peyton Manning for replacement. He would be a good get for MNF IMO...and wont come cheap I am sure..

  2. So I understand your point, you're saying Snapp is that much better than Code? Or the inverse?

Not necessarily anything about Code - but if I have a team that much bigger and faster in Newport, I'm probably running a few more sets working for higher percentage shots instead of settling.. JMO.. Just Saying... But like I said - that's JMO...

  3. I wouldn't necessarily argue Newport is more talented.. But would probably argue quality of coaching probably played more into it than first game jitters. And your also correct if they met again down road the result would be different. Especially with a healthy Donnelly in fold for Brossart.. Newport is fun team to watch.. Good luck on a successful season.

  4. The South Carolina player clearly blocked his shot, his hand hit the face from the follow through from the blocked shot. When a player makes a play on the ball you can't call a flagrant. In this instance it wasn't even a foul, just incidental contact after the blocked shot.

Yeah that makes sense.. but thought girls game was incidental as well while driving to hoop. but maybe not.. but that would be topic for that thread..thanks

  5. Need a rules clarification - How is it Karnowski can get hit in face and is not a flagrant but in UConn girls last night they can run 10 seconds off clock before refs review then say by rule that hit to face was a flagrant.. I may be missing the obvious - but besides one being a hand and the other being an elbow - what was the difference in those two calls / non call?
