Any rumors on replacements?
-
Bigger? Hater because I'm a Fleming Co fan? He pouts, doesn't play hard and is soft. Wish I could live in fantasy land. He does not have the skills to play at Southern Illinois and for sure not at Okie State. Why was Mason Co better when he was out of the game? Enough said.

What is the latest news about the openings in Lexington?
-
I hate to be the one to burst the bubble but he cannot play at either place. He is way too soft and was really a non factor in the sweet 16. Pikeville would be a better fit.

Anyone at the region final? Heard that Lafayette's players walked off the court and didn't shake hands. Had to be brought back out for the trophy presentation in street clothes. Are the inmates running the asylum?
-
Completely Throttled!! Can anyone help me understand what Lafayette's game plan was?
-
True enough, but still doesn't matter. They won the game fair and square. This isn't one of those situations where I'm going to roll with the "If they'd done this earlier then...." statement. They won, on the court, period. One man decided they didn't win and unfortunately gets to be the final word on the matter.
Then unfortunately you are dillusional. Make your free throws and there is no controversy is my point.

Because it is Grant County. Am I missing something or is this a great job? Please advise
-
As I have pointed out before, if FC makes their free throws, this discussion is no discussion. Hall missed the front end with a little over a minute left and Burton missed the front end up 4 with less than 35 seconds left. Make those, game over.

Why is the Grant County job getting so much attention?

For those of you who continue with the argument about preparing kids for the next level....get over it already!! High school sports are not on the same level due to school size among other things. Additionally, high schools do not have professionals keeping the game clock much less a shot clock. I would assume that high schools coaches would rather win games by any means possible rather than be entertaining. Would you want your team to win 36-35 or lose 88-50?

Well said!:thumb:

No need for a shot clock. It is hard for me to believe that having a shot clock would greatly enhance a kid getting prepared for college. That should be the very last thing on the list of things needed to be ready for college. All schools are not on equal ground. Therefore, every school should have the opportunity to use the "8 minute shot clock" is so desired. It is fun to watch the "other" coach when they have no clue of what to do when a team holds the ball.

Out of his hands with .3 left. Ref ought to be suspended or fired. Not even close....However....how come no one has mentioned that FC missed two front ends in the last ninety seconds??????
-
Trinity lost for three reasons: shot selection, Sewell one shot in the last 3 minutes (did nothing to get him the ball down low), shot selection.
-
Eastern came out soft, just as they were in last year's state tournament. They never led the whole game. If Ballard hits free throws, they win by 10.
-
Will agree Shaw was fantastic but LCHS was unimaginative on ways they tried to get the big fella the ball down low. Very vanilla game plan.
-
Wasn't real sure of the time out strategy or any strategy by the Knights. How many times do you continue to chase Lafayette to the basket? Strange happenings indeed

Why all the talk of moving northern Ky teams to the 8th when Franklin County, Western Hills and Frankfort are right next door to the 8th?
-
Any rumors on possible job openings for next season?
-
So we should shut down all sports except for football?

What it says is the region is devoid of quality talent. He still might have a year but a leopard does not change its spots. Glad the kid can get a free ride and an education. He cannot and will not play there. He simply isn't good enough and his attitude won't allow him to develop.
