Great observation there were more pads plays called but walker took off with the ball. Yeah Brockman was open a lot and a young qb was holding ball too long. Ball should have been released way earlier.

VOR. You could not be more right. Dayton had 5 total and 3 were for scores. 30-8 at half second half devils never came back out to play either. Again Bellevue played their A game and Dayton would get an F. Bellevue capitalized on many Dayton mistakes. As some would say yes Bellevue cause a couple of those mistakes. Just would have loved to see a good played game by both cause it would have been fun to watch. Cause that was not fun. Maybe for a Bellevue fan yes. I just know Dayton is better than what twy put out there on Friday night.

I agree I help coach with laundry and there were only like 5 jerseys that were dirty. Not good.

The three kids who did not play much are freshman who are very inexperienced and because no jv team they do get some playing time with starters on special teams.

Also another senior played like 5 snaps who missed 2 days of practice who usually starts def and off. Everyone else was there not sure where your info is coming from. The week before 10 guys miss practice cause of a teammates funeral. They did not start game. The walker kid missed some practice time te last few weeks for personal reasons but did not start games.

Adjustments were made. Especially at halftime. Also on last drive prior to halftime. It's simple block and tackle. That we didn't do. The line of scrimmage was dominated by a much quicker and smaller Bellevue line. Blocking assignments were made at halftime as well. Bellevue played with much more heart and determination. Dayton decided to play worst game of the year. Congrats to bellevue they played hungry. Dayton did not

The paddle is new started in 07. Two river towns battling it out for the boat paddle. However it's second most played game in state and I'm pretty sure top 10 most played games in country. It's two towns separated by a street right down the middle one side Dayton other Bellevue.

Thanks voice of reason. Your right we played hard but onviously have was to go. We're moving in the right direction. Our players play with class and no personal fouls. The program is heading in the right direction. Coaches and players all all buying into the team philosphy. I Agree beechwood didn't play there a game but kudos to our kids for taking advatage of the mistakes.

Well the actual reason I'm wearing #40 is because that was how old my dad was, but I accidently told the paper different, although if I knew his actual jersey # I'd be wearing it. But I just wanted to say that and once again Thank everyone for their godd wishes and prayers for my family and I. All the help is very much appreciated by my family, also know that the prayers have been working! My Father dedicated his life to taking care of me and the rest of my siblings and has left me a proud and greatful son. A special thanks goes to my whole Greendevil community for coming together and helping more than anyone could ask for. So Thank each and everyone of you who've done something to at least try and help and I will take all the prayers and helpful words with me throughout the rest of my life, also as an extra insentive to get the job done On The Field. This is Dejujuan Walker and I just want to say Thanks everyone who has donated or even simply sent there blessing. I along with my sister am doing fine and even though life's gonna be tougher from here on out but my Father prepared me for it and I'm ready to take the challenge. But I just wanted to let everyone know how I was doing and to let you'll know I am and will be prepared for Fridays.

Yeah silly they would even play this game. Why would Kozerski play this game? Was anyone wondering what happened at the end. No crying here, but the qb slid at the 1. Then HC took delay of game and the proceeded to still punch it in? Just seemed like they were doing the right thing then went on to score. Again not saying they were running it up just curious why they did the first two things then decided to go ahead and score. Any insight from Holy Cross.

Lloyd has some nice athletes and yes #15 is pretty good. As well as Dayton # 22. Walker could have a big night for the Devils. I think whoever has least turnovers wins the game. This Dayton team is going to turn some heads this year. If they play their A game they can surely win

Well to chime in. I was at the game. Highlands depth is stupid. Run all fade routes run those receivers off the field and put 3 new wr's out there to run next play. Towles is an amazing quarterback and the receivers run crisp routes. Let's give O-Line some credit they gave Towles all night. Highlands is a great team. Can't wait to watch the game this week. To give an unbiased opinion on the game and stands. Highlands was holding all night especially on the screens. There is almost a hold on every play, but there were several on outside that a ref has to call. I mean you could see the jersey getting held and tugged on. As far as the stands I was sitting pretty close to several incidents that happened and I will say both parties were guilty. There was the bearded guy who was acting like an idiot. However, there were a few Highlands fans who were not being very classy either. Enough about the non-sense though. Highlands is a great team and JJ is pretty good I don't care what anyone says. The kid plays hard.

They didn't play the whole season. It wasn't like they just missed that one game. Plus Frankfort was a very good team with out them so arguing that those guys didn't play in that game is irrelevant.

It was a great game no doubt. I was just simply stating that Frankfort did not have those kids. Bellevue had a heck of a team and could pound the rock. Can't imagine how good they would have been if they were able to throw the ball. Wills did a good job of controlling the games and reminded me of Trent Dilfer that year.:thumb:

The tigers need to control the clock and the ball. Frankfort definitely has the speed advantage but they did two years ago and Bellevue managed to come out of there with a victory. Should be a good one.

That was a good game, but in 2009 Frankfort did not have 4 starters playing that night and Quan Weaver was one of them. I think Frankfort wins this one by a close margin.
