I apologize if anyone has already compiled this list, but earlier in the thread someone asked about All "A" champions and their results in the state tournament. I am not in the know even though I am a parishioner there. What they could do is hire an Interim Head Coach during the period of time that Casey needs to tend to his family and bring him back at that point. Just a thought.

He's a Chanticleer.

I asked who, have yet to hear a response.
I have an idea who it is. If Ross Hart doesn't get hired, I won't be back as statistician.

Newport shot 34% from the field. Beechwood led by Cameron Boyd with 21 points 9 rebounds.

Hudl had Cam with 30, 12 and 11, but in either case, he still earned the triple-double. I also had 22 assists on 26 made baskets, while Hudl recorded 24 of 26, either case, good team play by the Tigers.

179 total games in the series with Ludlow, Beechwood leads 103-76. Series will be renewed Saturday at The Den.
-
I stand corrected, the longest all-time series in terms of games against Ludlow. I'm still working on it, but I'm at 144 games and counting. In fact, during the 1991-92 season, the Tigers and Panthers played 5 times:
New Richmond Holiday Tournament
2 games in conference
All "A" Tournament
District Tournament- 1

Yes, yes I could. I'm currently working on the all-time series versus Ludlow since we are playing them on Saturday, but vs. Bellevue 61-62, not bad considering we began that series 4-24. Bishop Brossart 34-27, Bracken County 5-4, Covington Latin 44-3, Dayton 70-48, also skewed by the beginning of the series where Dayton dominated 4-19, Gallatin County 6-6, Heritage Academy 26-3, Holy Cross 18-68, Lloyd Memorial (in and out of the All "A" over the years) 51-67, Newport 20-55, Newport Central Catholic 5-28, St Henry 28-58, Villa Madonna 50-2, and Walton-Verona 34-44. I am still working on a lot of record building to put together a final product of a college level media guide. Don't know how long until the final product right now though.

It is a record for the Beechwood side of this series, previous consecutive win streak was 4 back in the early 40s. The Red Colonels once beat the Tigers 22 and 27 consecutive times. The 27-game streak was from December 1981 - March 2005. The overall series, the largest in number of games vs one opponent, is Dixie 106-30, we only need 70 something more years to catch up. 😞 There are a lot of years where Beechwood played Dixie Heights home-and-home series or once during the regular season and then in the district tournament.

Stockyard Bank Challenge at Rowan County. Cash Harney led the Tigers with 18 points and 6 assists. Cameron Boyd scored 17 and now has 1,001 points in his career. Congratulations Cam!! Beechwood is 3-4 and will play Ryle in the first round of the Swauger Classic at Bellevue Wednesday.

I thought Villa was hosting the All A, at least that is where I will be on Wednesday?

Rebounding was practically even, I had Beechwood with a 2 rebound advantage and Hudl had it even, but it doesn't record team rebounds.

Congratulations to the Tigers on a sensational season, and farewell, and good luck to the seniors, and much luck in the future.
I'll second that. The Beechwood Boys' Basketball Class of 2021 won 91 games, the most in any four-year stretch in school history. I am extremely proud to have been involved with this group. The future is bright for these young men.

Tigers were 1-15 from 3. Some teams aren't allowed to have an off day I guess?

No love for Jake Ohmer of Scott. The run he led the Eagles on was MAGICAL.
Lots of love for Jake, he's not a 9th Region player.
