BTW, while it would be fun (and hilarious) to see UK beat Florida, I'm afraid that would really put Muschamp on the hot seat to the extent of he's basically gone barring a miracle. I am for whatever keeps that guy in Gainesville. Felt the same way about Zook all those years ago. Some guys just know how to put a program in reverse.

I agree with you on the resume, but I WOULD NOT want him on my sideline. Sorry. JMO. Not at all a fan of him or his way of running the program.Let's not go overboard. Hicks is a good coach who works the refs. You don't see him getting T's. I think his record speaks for itself. He's a very good basketball coach, point blank, period.Accomplishments:
- 2 KY State Championships
- 5 KY State Finals Appearances
- Coached the McDonald's All-American Team
Not a bad resume. Let's be real. He wasn't the coach of the better team tonight, but you'd be crazy to say you wouldn't want him on your sideline.

Congrats to Cov. Cath! How bad was Billy Hicks ripping the officials? I was listening to a little of semis last night and guys doing the game on radio were talking about how he (Hicks) ripped the officials about every single call. Just wondering?
He's the biggest crybaby I've ever seen. Whines and cries about every call. Embarrassing.

Exactly. 100% agreed. But, people who believe this way have now become the minority. Thus making it very difficult to win an election to stop it.The poor vote for liberals because they feel the gov will take care of them and give them free money, food, housing, and be able to live off others so they won't have to work. The reason unemployment benefits are continued every time is the gov wants to keep those people on a leash. Our gov doesn't want to add jobs, they want people to rely on the gov so they can get votes. -
The #'s don't lie. Obama supporters are overwhelmingly those that are on assistance. And lets not forget the suppressing of the requirement to present a Voter Registration card. The # of people who feel the Government owes them something for nothing has surpassed the # of people who feel they are responsible for supporting themselves. The end result is a Obama win.Anecdotal information too often is misleading. Obama got 69.5 million votes in '08 and 65.9 million votes in '12 -- after the honeymoon long had ended. (His win in '12 was actually more impressive than '08.) Why? Was it because of the support the president received from people on assistance? That's ridiculous. Or was this a result of the GOP shrinking its tent more and more every year? I think the answer lies with the latter. -

I have no idea who their best player is or whether he played or not. And, I'm not upset about a loss to the #1 team in the state considering MC graduated all 5 starters from last year and 7 out of the first 8 in last years rotation. Only 2 of MC's players even saw the floor last year and that was for very limited minutes. What I do know is I was proud of MC for their effort for all 32 minutes. If I was sitting on the other side I would be embarrassed at my team for laying down and refusing to "compete" for the win. And, in case you missed the point of the thread, a shot clock would advance the game forcing "both" teams to continue to play until the game is over.If you were that upset why didn't you leave? You also didn't mention the Trinity beat you without their best player. -

They did and forced a few turnovers. You seem to be missing the point. If you ever notice people will get up and go to the bathroom or concession stand during halftime. That's because no one wants to stare at the floor with "no basketball being played". People attend basketball games to watch basketball being played. Again this started at the 3:40 mark. And again.... it is time for a shot clock in HS basketball.So you're not going to answer the question? Why didn't MC come out and try to steal the ball? There's no rule that says they can't play aggressive D and steal the ball.
