I think that the cov cath alumni also deserve some recognition! 1000's of alumi made the trip to lexington all weekend. At the finals the CCH crowd seemed to out number the Scott County fans 3 to 1 and they are just a few miles down the road.

Just wait until Bandi-Corp(the new owners of Drawbridge) put a Wallmart at that location. The Ft Mitchell snobs will be up in arms. They don't want to buy their cammo panties in the same city that they live in!

I would have thought quite a bit too, but I was told by a parent of the team (when I ask the same question to him) that honestly not that much, but he felt that this year middle school team, has much better talent!

 

I really was impressed with the CovCath Freshmen team as I was with the Ryle kids and like I said, our young Frosh sure can fly!

The statement by the parent was quite untrue. 25 of the 52 freshman players were on the Colonel middle school team. That first year team did not do as well as expected because the teams were divided equally. Had they put the best 11 player on the field it may have had a different outcome. This year the colonel middle school team consists of an all 8th grade team that competes against the large schools and a 7th grade against the small schools. They will definitely have an impact on future colonel teams.
