Menifee County plays Johnson Central at Estill County at 1 pm. on Nov. 17th. I think it is a panorama, but I don't know the rest of the schedule of games.
Menifee also plays at Bryan Station on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 6:00.

Which teams are that All State?

Statistics do play an important role and they involve a great deal more than just points. If kept correctly, they can give a glimpse at how valuable a player is to the team and can give you an idea how good the player actually is. If a player is scoring 25 or 30 points a game but having to shoot 30 times a game, it probably means that the player is the one of the few scorers the team has. However, if the player is scoring 15 points a game shooting 8-10 shots a game, it means that he/she is pretty efficient in scoring and probably getting to the free throw line as well even if there are other good players on the team. If a team has an efficient scorer that also distributes the basketball and gives teammates scoring (assists), rebounds the ball well to gives their team extra possessions, defends well (steals, blocked shots, and charges drawn), and takes care of the basketball (low turnovers), that player is probably pretty good and will get noticed by someone at the next level to at least take a look at the player.

Emma Hacker, junior at Menifee County, passed the 1000 point mark in yesterday afternoon's game at Fleming County. Congrats Emma!

Good win for West Carter last night.

It does appear that Menifee and West Carter have been the most consistent teams to this point in the season.

With the tournament set to begin on Saturday, who would be considered the favorite?

The season actually starts tomorrow. We will know more about them after a few games. You can read a little about them in the 16th region previews.

I saw them play Menifee on Monday. They can shoot the 3 if left open. They really don't have much size to go inside if the 3's are not falling though. Lee also doesn't have a very deep bench. Hannah Kash is a pretty nice player and will probably be looked upon to carry the scoring load if they are to have much success this season.

Not totally sure what to expect from Menifee this year. They could potentially have one of the better teams they have had in a while or they could be around a .500 season. They may be one of those teams that get better as the season progresses. They have some really good younger players. One thing is certain, barring any injuries, Ashton Woodard will be one of the better players in the 16th region.

This is a surprising outcome. Can someone give details/game summary?

Sounds like a tight game down the stretch. Was there no on-the-court osculation in this one?
There were a couple of incidents in the game that could have resulted in the game getting very physical, but I thought the officials did a good job keeping the game under control.

Final from Flemingsburg.

There's no way that should have been allowed to have happened. Where was the defense?
There was a man guarding the player inbounding the ball. The player who received the pass at half court was double teamed and then triple teamed after he caught the pass. He still managed somehow pass to a wide open player underneath the basket.

Final from Owingsville. Menifee ran an in-bounds play and went the length of the court with 2.8 seconds to hit a layup at the buzzer. One of the most exciting games high school games I had seen in person in a while.

Menifee boys decided to play a little harder.:thumb:
