  1. I agree it is good for the kids to "make" the playoffs, however I wish that ever district had at least 5 teams, that way every team that made the playoffs would have to win at least 1 game to "make" the playoffs. How many teams have won the state coming from a 3 seed? I know Bourban Co. did it in the 90's. Has there ever been a 4 seed win the state in any class?

  2. Boyle County by quite a few scores. Taking nothing away from Pendleton County, but this game really shouldn't even happen. I'm glad for all the players getting to play in the playoffs, but I remember not too long ago when it meant something to earn a ride to the playoffs. The current alignment allowing 0-10 teams to compete is just silly in my opinion.

  3. Are you kidding? Did you NOT watch any Boyle basketball?? Coach Bottoms was a great man coach but he ran a 1-2-2 many times with Carter, Stead and company. Obviously that isn't man is it Jayvee?? Also about the record... You go to the finals of the region how many times over the last few years and how many district championships or runner-up do you have?? I believe you need to rethink your bashing of Coach Bottoms.

His quote was the last couple of years and he is dead on. Carter, Stead and company have been gone for 3 years, Bottoms did run the 1-2-2 with them, but the last couple of years it was man to man. I agree that Bottoms walked into a good situation and got a couple of good transfers. Good luck to the Rebels and coach Adams this season.:thumb:

  4. I agree with you on some of this but I don't cut the classes but cut the number of teams that make the playoffs like it used to be where only the winner and runner-up of the district can make the playoffs and you will get rid of the winless teams that make the playoffs. Then the 1st round games will be better for both teams where you have quality opponents playing each other.:thumb:
