milk, bread, and...........hmmmm

I think the KHSAA should consider a 35 or 40 second play clock in games that reached a "running clock" status. Less plays would have to be run decreasing chance of injury as the two teams would obviously be mismatched. Just a thought

oops...what was that noise?

Dunbar has a nice one at http://www.pldfootball.com. Any other good ones to look at?
-
Dunbar has 12 seniors, 6 of them start, 3 of them are impact players. Dunbar has 85 players, 60 of them are sophmores or freshmen. Dunbar starts 11 shophmores and 2 freshmen.

Congrats to the Eagles. Obviously a really good team. I had stated earlier that I thought BS could go undefeated in regular season but maybe it wil be JC. I do know that BS has a good team and results may be different come playoff time. Good luck to both teams. Sad Dunbar fan here......

Bryan Station by at least 3 touchdowns. These kids have everything you need to win a championship. IMO the only team that will be able to play with Station will be Scott County. If they stay healthy. I am not sure what they did to this team in the last year but they are nothing like the teams of the past.
OOPS, misread BS schedule. they don't play Scott Co in Varsity. I see 10-0 regular season. Just one mans opinion.

Look at the teams he has coached and look at the teams now! I don't even have to say anything if someone can't see that. I look a 0-10 for Dunbar. Sound like you have a great leader now Doggie Bite lol. It's sad and I guess the grass always look better on the other said when certain kids are not playing. I guess personal attacks against a coach that you don't have no more is the only way Dunbar fans can make them selfs feel better!!!
Hensley was 10-3 his first year at Dunbar, 1-9 his second year and 4-8 his third year. So yes I guess he did turn them around in the wrong direction. But regardless of who is coaching them the outcome would be the same when you lose so many quality players. 75% of the starters on this team are sophmores and freshmen. :walk:

Thats funny Go EVERY TEAM BUT DUNBAR!!
It's funny how David Hensley goes to EAST JESS and turns them around and then goes to Dunbar and turns them around and when he leaves both have fell apart so I guess Dunbar gets what they wanted, Playing TIME NOT WINS.
:flame:DUNBAR
Winning 3 games is turning a team around...WOW he is good then.

I think you will find that Bryan Station is the best team in Lexington this year. So Dunbar has nothing to hang their heads about. Dunbar will get better each week.. Dunbar has lost a lot of talent for various reasons. they are very young and inexperienced.
-
How many players that were expected to play for Dunbar in the early summer are not on the squad this fall? This should have been a much better team in 2008.
I know of 7 players that would have started or played a vital roll that are not playing or they are injured.
-
Bryan Station is the real deal. They have size and speed. They dominated Dunbar in every phase of the game. 45-14......was not this close.

7-Scott Co
5-Henry Clay
3-Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, IN
2-Lafayette
1-John Hardin

Is there a limit on when Colleges can contact high school students? I have heard they must be out of there sophmore year..Any help?
-
In fairness to the Sophmore class they had very little coaching on the freshman team last year. The sophmore class has several big kids that will complement the more talented freshman class. There are 7 linemen in the sophmore class right now that are 6'2or bigger and go 230 or more. There will be about 7 sophmores starting Varsity this year.

Dunbar has been beaten up with injuries,as well as grades and no shows. Will be a tough year this year. But should contend for a state championship in 2 years.... this team is full of big and talented sophmores and freshmen.
