Pikeville didn't want this game and knew what it was going to be going into it, but whoever is in decision making positions need to look past the bowl money and think about the kids for ONCE..... There are consequences for their decisions

All of these decisions were made before Coach Howard took over as coach. So Coach and these players had no choice, but to play the hand they were dealt.

Hopefully Pikeville will go to this game and elimate the mistakes made in their first game. Then just hold their own with Boyle and maybe we can stay within a few touchdowns.

Pikeville is a better team than they showed Sat. night....they just had two many turnovers...They had two turnovers in the first 3 minutes that resulted in 14-0 and two more turnovers before halftime.

Boyle County will not shutout Pikeville. Pikeville can move the ball and will score against Boyle County

Wasn't able to make the trip, but would like to know how everyone stacked up.

Pikeville Ind. has a reciprocal agreement with Pike County Schools for 130 students only. This number was lower this year by the Pike County School Board. " Take it or leave it" The state tax money only follows if a agreement exist...If student number 131 comes to Pikeville Ind. in the up coming school year he or she will have to pay apxx.$4800 to attend school. The state money defers back to the state funds. If he or she is within the 1-130 number and live in Pike County, they pay $800 per year

I hope we can pick up a couple more players before we start practice this summer.

Spring Practice is going good..they had 5 practices. Several new faces out..that hasn't played in the last two years....

Example: They had 5 soph. out during regular season...they had 15 soph. out first day of spring practice. Several out of the 16 will start and see playing time in the fall.

I'm hearing Pikeville will start spring practice March 2......

You guys are right...just sour grapes on my part.

Good Luck to Coach Copley and I hope you have great success in GC.

Then you should be calling the person in charge or firing the Coach. You and he should go to the weight room to help those kids.

 

Coach Copleys team is in Green Up and he nneds to be focused on getting them ready to whip Pikeville and the rest of the state. I feel bad for the kids, but they are not Coach Copleys concern. Now that sounds bad but its the truth.
