  1. Clint Stepp is still at JBS along with the big guy Garrison Collins. Noticed the other night that some kid named Hall had 32 or so points in a JBS win. Does anybody know who that is?? I don't think I ever heard of him or saw him play in Summer Ball??

He was the one that went to Knott Co. with Cox but came back to JBS.

  2. Yea he is playing last time i heard he had broke his collarbone playing football. So i was just wondering if he had came back from his injury.

He is still on the team and has been sitting on the bench. Talk to his Dad the other day and said that he is waiting for a brace to come in and will be back and start practing with the team Monday. I think will play a little tuesday night.

  3. :thumb: Cowardly move on Hazards part. I'm not saying Perry beating Hazard without there entire roster proves anything. However, if you have five players to put out there than you should play. Imo you could give coach Hatcher five random players off the street and he would play you.

That is a fact, Coach Hatcher would have played them if the shoe was on the foot.:thumb:

  4. There is know team going to sign a contract for 3,000 to 5,000 like DoneDirty said on a post on here. Also what amout is it 3,000 or 5,000?

I know for sure that it costed Hazard $5,000. Two years ago at Breathitt Co. it cost them $2.500 to get out of a game. I think the least amount these days to get out of a game is $1,500. That is a fact lonewolf!

  5. Someone from Breathitt can answer with more detail, but yes they do have several players out since they are still in the Football tournament. Also, Nick Noble has a fractured ankle that is still on the mend.

I'm pretty sure that Dakota Ritchie, Cody Moore, Robbie Huff, Jade Haddix and several others didn't play in this game.

Cody Moore doesn't play football he played in the game. Dakota Ritchie and Nick Noble was the two main players that was missing.

  6. Hazard has a very, very well-coached team. They also have experience that alot of other teams do not have. I don't see anyone knocking Hazard off. IMO.

Big Al is a good coach but he's no Hatcher, that was proven last yr. when PCC went to the region final's. The yr. before when Al was there with a stronger team PCC fell in the first round of Dist. to Buckhorn by about 30 so let's don't get into the Coaches because PCC is so far ahead with Hatcher,Fugate and the 3 other young coaches.JMO:thumb:

  7. I will agree with you that Hazard is the best team in the region and should be pick #1 but I do think that Perry, Knott or LCC will knock them off in the region but that is my thought and as far a Leslie Co. they have a good young bunch coming up.

Far from it man...I'm a fan of a team that is in the same district as Hazard (Leslie) & I am a fan of good basketball in which Hazard has. It's not that I am a "die hard" Bulldog fan or a PCC hater. I tell it like it is & Hazard is the better team & I think they will win each game they play against Perry Central. You do know that they quit playing the regular season match up between the 2 so it's not that bold of a prediction right? BTW, I know Hatcher is a good coach, because of the success he had at his previous school (the name of the school escapes me) but that does not mean he can automatically make his players all of a sudden be good. Perry has a couple nice players but Hazard has about 4 really nice players. You say Perry has about the same team as last year but so does Hazard. Hazard was the better team last year & they will be again this year. Go Leslie County! (who BTW, will be one of the less talented teams in the 14th this upcoming season) :thumb:

  8. Hazard. BTW, they will beat Perry Central in every match up between the two this season.

Man you must be a diehearted bulldog fan to say something like that. I seen PCC play several time this summer and they played awful good and besides they have about the same team back from last yr. with I think that they also landed the Salyers kid from Breathitt Co. who is about 6'4 and a real good inside player if I'm not mistaken. And also Hatcher is one heck of a coach maybe the best in the eastern part of this state.

  9. Breathitt attempted less than 10 passes tonight... apparently lack of consistency throwing and dropped passes have the Bobcats gunshy. Can't be one dimensional against Belfry, and for that matter Harlan County, witht heir lack of depth.

JMO- but I think coming into this season everyone had Haddix the QB way ahead of what he really is and that is thinking that he was going to be as good as his brother Justin or better and that isn't going to happen. I know his Dad was really putting him on a pestal and it has to be a big letdown for him because Jade's not near a good of a QB as they had last yr. in Coby Fugate.

  10. PCC had a big win over Knott Co. last night. Jordan Amis looked real good.

    D. Travis the star of Perry Co. didn't have that good of night but with the way Amis was running and throwing they didn't need him. Also Josh Salyers is coming along in the starting wide receiver role, he had about 80 yds last night as well as about 50 yds last week in receiveing, that's pretty good after sitting out all of last year. PCC could have a good yr. if their defense could pick up. Any thoughts!
