  1. With all the money spent on this election (over 1 billion dollors), the Pac's 527's, Union's, Corporations, bundlers...I would really like to see someone tackle meaningful campaign finance reform. I think this country is for sale to the highest bidder and has been for some time. If you want to see how much the candidates are alike, or why your congress votes the way it does, check out http://opensecrets.org

  2. I'm hoping our "D" can (steal one) score, the "O" gets a field goal, so I'll say 10 for Kentucky. Florida scores 2 TD's in the first half, 3 when our injured and depleted defense gets tired in the second, throw in a field goal and you get 38 for Florida. Anyway-Go Cats!

  3. 1978 CJ-7, blue with a black hardtop. 304 V-8, I added Headman Hedders myself and side mufflers to come out under the doors. Put oversize tires on it (had to be careful when I cut the wheel to tight it would cut the tread on the tires). Man I loved that Jeep...

  4. I have been watching Fred for the last few years as my son is in the same age bracket. I think this year for Fred has been outstanding. Up until this year there were about 4-5 other kids in his age group that were about even with him. But he has taken his game up several notches and now (in my opinion) has to be considered the best in his class. Great job young man!

  5. Top 4 teams - St X, Marshall County, Lexington Christian, and Dunbar.

    All within 4 strokes (+3 to +7)

Then, a 17 stroke gap to teams in 5th-8th.

Looking forward to seeing West Jessamine play (assuming Ryle, West Jessamine, and Dunbar play together). Fred Meyer (7th grade) shot 74 today to lead his team.

I over-estimated Elliott County -- two 6th graders is a bit much for this tournament.

Both are good kids with lots of potential, I haven't seen the course-were there some longer carries (over hazards) that got them in trouble?

  6. I don't think Lunsford is the answer-but this is the closest we have come in ending McConnell's reign in a long time. So I will vote for Lunsford, knowing it will be easier to get him out (as a first term senator)and hopefully get a less sleazy candidate next time. Does that make sense?
