This happened a couple of years ago in a LexCath game (vs Bourbon Co. I think) and the game was concluded the next day.

Serious question LexCath fans.
With the game being played Saturday night, and with it starting rather late in the evening, I for one would prefer to sleep in Sunday morning after getting home late. So the question is, where is the nearest Catholic Church to LexCath with a Saturday evening Mass at around 5pm or so!
That would be Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary across the street from the school. Mass is at 4PM on Saturday.

I've noticed that during this "debate" about public versus private no one has mentioned enrollment numbers or boundaries.
Private schools have no boundaries from which to draw their enrollment numbers. They are within the guidelines set up for each class for overall enrollment just as the public schools are, but private schools hand-pick their students based on their own criteria and many have enrollments of just one sex. Public schools must take students within their resides area, irregardless of their sex.
I would argue that the students have the opportunity to pick the school instead of the other way around.

I hate to hear that things like this went on. I would like to know what happened as well. It seems as some fans are getting less mature as this is the 2nd or 3rd incident throughout the year I have heard involving us and the other teams' fans. I heard we had some classless fans at the LexCath game in Lexington that were yelling and cussing at LexCath players and coaches after the first game. I love a good rivalry, but I prefer we not look like idiots. It paints us all in a bad light.
Ketchup, mustard, and honey. The officials' "cleanup" was placing a box of trash bags in the stands.

A special thanks to Boyle County hosts for the condiments that were provided throughout the vistors stands tonight.
Another example of how a few individuals can perpetuate the image of a group. Very low-class.

Congratulations to both teams for a hard-fought battle to the end.
Good luck to the Rebels on Log Mountain.

I'm looking forward to the usual hard fought battle on the field with LexCath prevailing this time in another close one.

LCA has who in the next round?
Lexington Catholic plays at Harrison County in the second round.
LCA is a 1A team and plays Williamsburg in the second round.

Thanks.
If the JV game is any indication, this should be a good one.

Lex Cath Freshmen play at Corbin tomorrow. Could someone in the know tell me if Corbin's Freshman games are held at the stadium or at the school practice field? We have two different sets of driving directions for Corbin games.

Does anybody have anything on this one?
This one was over in the first half. Lex Cath was leading 31-7 after an Apollo TD with about 2 minutes to go in the half. LC then scored 2 TD's in the time remaining to go up 44-7 at halftime.
Greg Raglin rushed for 86 yards on just 11 carries. Daniel Vogelsang showed his athleticism more than in any other game so far. Jake Connor dominated on D.
#6 Courtland for Apollo showed some explosive speed and #57 Harris? was a beast on the line but seemed to tire since he played most of the game on both sides of the ball.
Apollo just didn't have enough weapons to stop the Knights in the first half.

Having seen both teams up close, I'd have to go with St. X by a couple of TD's (if the same rosters are used by each team as when they played LexCath). The Tigers' depth and speed should win out.
I would love to see these two squads go at it. There will definitely be some bruised muscles after this one.

Yep. Just watched the game on Wazoo. LexCath put 34 on the board in the 3rd quarter alone.
