I think you're wrong on the East Carter game. I think you're right on the LCA game. The Fairview and Russell games could go either way.

East, Fairview and Russell are my picks just due to their drive/heart or, should I say, Raceland's lack of it.

If memory serves the Musketeers made a USA poll/article as a top mascot. Reason - the consolidation.

Great mascot, I just wish they would do more with it. I know it is far fetched but I would love to see a Musketeer ride across the football field much like the UVA cavalier. Oh well, one can dream.

The team that I saw take the floor against Fairview was not the same team I saw tonight.

If a student/parents want to enroll at Raceland, they can. If they are out of district, Raceland assures that the student is not a disaplinary problem and has good grades, then the student is allowed to enroll.

Seems odd, a student moves into the Raceland district and enrolls in Raceland schools, but Raceland "Took". I think if a student moves into the district Raceland has to take them.

And let's just say that student didn't move into the Raceland district yet still enrolled and played in varsity level games? What would their stance be then?

He has a "Bonafide Change of Address", end of story, if Greenup protested it they would lose, and that is exactly what Matt Baker said.

"Bonafide Change of Address" is OK but custody/guardianship is another matter.

You don't know what the deal is and if you did you'd change your tune, believe me, I'd be the first person to raise heck about this if I didn't know what the real issue was and like I said, if you knew you would lay off this issue.

I would give them a second chance Coupon, things were tough and each kid is a seperate case, as I stated in a post earlier, loyality is big in my book too, but I think some of these kids are ready to come back, Jett Troxler being one of them, he hasn't played a down at Raceland and we need him back in the Green, Black and Gold...

Not all transfers are traitors. . . . . but most kids don't want to be in a negative enviroment and to date, that is exactly what Greenup football has been.

Then how do you justify the transfer the QB heir apparent. The negativity is gone and the transfer still occurred before the new coach was hired. This was in fact a traitorous act.

That being the case, Greenup is #1 seed.

Hasn't Greenup already beaten Russell? I know they always play twice a year so how do you count the second and not the first game?

Isn't he a new transfer to Scott Co.? Who was Euton playing for when the "offer" was made?

Why does everyone get worked up about this? There was no scholarship offered, it's against the NCAA rules. A coach may say we have a spot for you but that could mean that you would be a preferred walk-on. No one will know until the official signing date if the true offer is made. If it is then another Jared Carter it is.

Did Craft guard Boyles?

From what I have seen Boyles had 4 pts the first half with Craft was guarding him. Second half, 18 points with Craft in the game 2-3 minutes. First half: Boyles - 4, Craft - 7, +3 to GC, Second Half: Boyles - 18, Craft - 0, +18 Raceland, +15 overall to Raceland in this matchup. Your guess is as good as mine why he didn't stay on him, as Lionel Ritchie says, "All night long".

pickoff, I say if you have a problem with Coach Vanderhoof or how he is running the program, then why don't you call him and ask to speak to him. . . . .

This is part of the problem with coaching in high school today, everyone calling or talking to them about what they don't like. If he's not doing the job then he should be fired otherwise let people just voice their opinions in a forum. They do have that right.
