A lot of us struggle with the “let the players decide the game” bit if we have a specific rooting interest, but this is one of those times where the response is that they did decide the game - she committed a foul. That’s a player action deciding the game.

Thank you! Never understood the “let the players decide the game” when they AWAYS do! It was a foul, she chose to set an illegal screen, how is that on an official? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I know this angers a lot of people but the officials are an issue every year in the state finals.  The games are on a big stage and not everyone is up to the challenge. 

Very rarely are officials talked to during the game. There is a pregame meeting with the higher ups, and then evaluation after. Who would “correct” them?

New Mexico State took their 1.8 million dollar check for showing up and decided to play! Think Auburn was a 24.5 point favorite! 

Next 3 rounds will be the crews for the State Final games. They are picked by regional assignors and submitted to the KHSAA for approval. This allows the crews to work together before the Championship games. The crews are a combination of 2 regions with the each region sending a White Hat, 2 side judges, umpire,  2 deep wings and a back judge. In the finals the 4 front are one region and the deep 3 are from another. 

Michael Mayer (Cov Cath) and his Las Vegas Raiders take on Derrick Barnes(Cov Holy Cross) and his Detroit Lions tonight on Monday Night Football! Very Cool!!
