How often are the school enrollment records reviewed for reclassification? Seems to me, it should be reviewed every year.

The better poll question should be "why is Conner playing Lloyd?"

Clyde, glad you brought that up....why does a 6A schedule a 2A? Granted they have a tough schedule ahead of them, but I don't think this helps prepare them for the district games that really count!

I predict Scott wins. Cooper may feel good when playing Shawnee, but Scott is more talented. It will be Scott 13 - Cooper 6.

I was told by someone involved with BCPWFL,the Boone Co.school district told them they were not interested in starting a middle school program.

I believe this happen 2 or 3 years ago.

There's been a change at the helm since then. Hopefully they will try again.

I wish Boone County schools would implement the middle school league. I have only good things to say about the BCPWFL- but - I think it puts the high school programs at a disadvantage to not have a middle school feeder program.

Middle School programs would provide extra years to develop your system, develop position players, and create some excitement and loyalty to your program. Why doesn't Boone Co. District take advantage of this?:idunno:

Collinsworth, Simpson and Nichols have their pick of D1 offers and 3 of that quality by itself makes an argument this is the best class. West, Roller and Grubbs are likely D1 signees. With the recruiters in the area looking at all the above, don't be surprised if another player or two picks up a D1 offer. I can't remember another class as good as this one in N. Ky.[/QUOTE]

IMO, they really have several strong individual players. Now, they need to develop a chemistry and play as a team. That freshman class had that in the previous seasons, but now they have to gel with the upperclass players too. Hopefully, this summer will provide that opportunity for them to develop a team style of play. Are any members of the team playing AAU together?

Are you saying that your baseball players attend Spring Football practices? Does that only happen in Ft Thomas or do other schools implement that as well? Obviously, our school sports do not cooperate with each other near that well!

to the 4 feeder schools.

I can think of at least three Cov Cath players that played in the Boone Co. PeeWee Football League-Timmerman, B. Way, Cosby even if they went to parochial grade schools. Anybody know of others?

Are there any rumors of Boone Co. going to middle school programs for the 7th and 8th graders? Seems that might enhance their high school programs.....?

Quality minutes in Bradley (Boone), Delph(Notre Dame), Adler(Highlands).....

Some schools and coaches get burned when they offer hs playing time to middle school players. Some players agree to move up, take advantage of the high school playing time and then move on to another school leaving the program who gave them opportunity with a deficiency of numbers and talent for the future. Shouldn't there be an ounce of loyalty somewhere when you take that opportunity?

Did Conner have either of the girls who were injured in the South Oldham game? Is Fisher back to full strength? If they have lost more key players, the rest of their season will most likely be an uphill battle.
