You love him or you hate him. There is no in between-- but if you are a baseball person you have to RESPECT what he done for Beechwood Baseball and the hundreds of kids he has coached during the summer. Is he going to hold your son's hand, whipe his nose or tie his shoes---NO. Is he going to yell if you make lazy errors, disrespect the game, uniform or teammates--YES. Is he politically incorrect--Can BE. Does he say what most people would like to say but won't--YES. Despite the reasons Beechwood let him go and most of us will never really know the whole story the way the school handled it was horrible. If you want to go a "different direction" then fine but he deserved the option to retire and not be fired.
