  1. Not time to hit the panic button at Creek. Those three games were anything but fullly manned; Fucci is resting his players before the district.
  2. From what I understand, LC is going with Devon Williams.
  3. Since 2003, the worst a team has done coming out of this district is the state final four, which happened last year with Lexington Catholic
  4. Personally, I believe the best all around player in the state is Trevor Gott. Unfortunatley, he is only a junior and isn't even eligible for the award. He's given up 1 (not a typo, ONE) earned run in 25 innings pitched and has racked up 37 K's. He's also batting around .420. Mind you, he plays for Tates Creek and sees top-notch competition day in, and day out.
  5. Remember, due to Lexington public schools not playing Lexington Catholic, the seedings for this tournament are determined through a blind draw. Out of the past six years, four state champions have come out of this district, with another, Lafayette, taking runner-up in 2004. This is hands down the state's toughest district. SEEDS 1) Lexington Christian Academy (#2 in KY) 2) Lexington Catholic (#9 in KY) 3) Tates Creek (#3 in KY) 4) Paul Laurence Dunbar 5) Lafayette (#24 in KY) Winner of #4 and #5 game will play LCA, who recieved the first round bye. Winner of #2 and #3 game will play the winner of the game above. THIS IS GOING TO BE FUN!!!!!
  6. Creek threw a sophmore, Devin Jackson, and he went 5 1/3 of brilliant ball for the win. Ryan Fucci finished it off and also got three of creek's seven hits. Eastern threw Clements, who also threw a very good game.
