After Trinity...

Featured Replies

Over the past few years, it seems that Trinity has staked its claim as the top football program in the state (currently, not necessarily historically), culminating it the Shamrocks winning a share of the mythical national championship in 2011.

My question is: which program deserves to be considered number two in KY at the present time???

Is it St X? While St. X has taken a back seat to Trinity in the recent past, the Tigers did beat Cincy St. X this past year. Also, the last two times they played Highlands (in 2005 and 2006) St. X won handily.

Is it Highlands? The 'Birds have won five straight titles, have gone 73-2 over the past five years, and have gone 2-0 vs. Cincy GCL-S teams over the past three years.

Is it Bowling Green? The Purples went 15-0 last year, beat St. X at St. X in 2011, and lost to Trinity by just two points back in 2010.

Or, is it another program not listed above?

What say you???

I think to get a better feeel you need to ask this in the classes they are in. All the ones you mentioned are at the top as of right now. Things do change I went to Male/Highlands scrimmage one year when we were very good and it wasn't even close. Now they would be a tough team to beat.
