Harlan City (0-1) -- Davis 8, Logan 9, Begley 17, Johnson 10, Allen 4, Morris 2.

South Laurel (1-0) -- Grubb 7, Jones 2, Sanders 15, Miller 6, Allen 5, Slavey 12, Bagster 25, Colton 2, Schaser 4, Hale 4.

I'm assuming Bagster is actually Freshman Zach Baxter. 25 points to start off his high school career...nice! If I am wrong and there is actually a Bagster please correct me.

It was Baxter, Shot the ball extremely well tonight. South Laurel really came after Harlan with a swarming defense that forced a ton of turnovers.

I would not have expected anything less!

SL lucked out and got a great coach in Davis. Congrats to him and his team on the win.

Luck...I feel like it's was destiny for South Laurel and Coach Davis. God has a way of working things out even when things seems like confusion to us and others. :D
