J-town scrimmaged Manual tonight at J-town. Manual won by 9 points after 4 quarters. J-town won an extra period by 2. Both teams pressed and really pushed the ball throughout the scrimmage. I think both teams will be very good this season in their respective regions.

What players looked good for each team?

Jtown will start to drop off a little bit this year, but the decline will be steep and ongoing for a while beginning after this season.

Desmond Dorsey and Daniel Ross played well for J-town. Daniel was a bit rusty and looks to have added some weight. For Manual Bryan Repishti and Quintez Thompson led the way. Thompson is the standout wide receiver from the football team. He changed his name from Sutton to Thompson.

 

If J-town drops off at all it will be because they won't be getting the big name transfers in like they did under Morrow. Their team played extremely hard yesterday. Maybe the different approach exhibited by Coach Moody will allow the kids to relax and enjoy playing the game more.
