Basketball season for 2011/2012 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Wayne County? Remember, please be constructive.

Sounds like this could be an interesting year for Wayne Co. They return one starter from last years team (Shelton) and the sixth man (Gehring). They have a 6'11 transfer from Virginia that, just by his size, should make an impact. The other players will have no real varsity experience. The freshmen were dominant at the middle school level, but it may take a couple of years to translate to varsity success.

I expect them to take some lumps at the beginning of the season, but by tournament time I would not want to be facing Coach Woods and the Cardinals in a one and done situation.
