Prep Volleyball: Clark earns third straight district title

The George Rogers Clark girls volleyball team didn’t get rattled when Montgomery County nearly mounted a comeback in the finals of the 38th District Tournament Wednesday night at Nicholas County High School.

The Lady Cardinals maintained their composure and went on to beat the Lady Indians in the second set with an exciting 25-22 triumph to complete a two-game sweep of their border rivals. The title was the third district crown in a row for Clark, which advances to next week’s 10th Region Tournament.

Congratulations GRC! Good Luck in the Regionals!
