Game much closer than score indicates. Early in the 4th quarter score was 43-36 HC. Harlan Co is big and very physical. Very good team. GRC scored more points on them, than any other team this year. Pokey Harris had 4 TD and also played QB tonight for injured C Campbell. The Cards also had 5 other defensive player out tonight due to injuries.

 

Really like this Harlan Co team...they are for real. Congrats on the win and best of luck the rest of the season.

Do you know how many yards Pokey had tonight? I know he had several long runs for TD. Believe one was 90+ yards and another 60+ something.

I am not for sure but if i had to guess, it would be around 250 pushing 300. He had a solid game.

Just got this info, Harris rushed for 331 on 20 carries and Harlan county's Middleton and McMillan both broke 200 yards.

Unbeleivable display of talent in this game with the amount of yards to back it up. Impressive performance by both teams. Fun to watch.

Really good game last night for both teams. Pokey Harris's 333 yrds weren't enough to keep up with Harlan Co's two backs. Still a good performance for a cold night.

Harris opened under center for Clark and took the first snap 70-yards for a touchdown, giving the hosts a 7-0 advantage with 11:44 remaining in the first quarter. Harris rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns in the first quarter alone and finished with 248 yards and three touchdowns in the first half.

 

Harris kept Clark in the game with a 89-yard touchdown run with 9:59 remaining to pull the hosts within 43-36 with 9:59 left. An interception by Clark’s Conner Shoebrooks gave Clark a chance to tie the score at Harlan 33-yard line, but Clark was stopped on four downs. The Black Bears put the final touches on the win with two straight touchdowns in the final three minutes.
