Wanted to add that, as someone who watched the majority of the tournament online, one of the highlights of the tournament was the poise and play of Perry County Central's seventh grade guard Braxton Beverly. He showed some great fundamental skills throughout, but some things that stood out were his dangerous floater (he's 5'8) once he gets in the lane, his lights out shooting from the perimeter, and his confidence in running the offense and understanding of the game for someone so young. Defensively, he still has a long way to go because of his youth and lack of physical development (i.e. a 12-14 year old guarding kids up to 18), but if he continues to develop, the mountains and state should be on notice. The kid can really play.
