^ I believe the reason is that it is basketball, this is still a big rivalry but the Rams/Red Devils football game draws much more interest from both sides. JMO

I know football is more important to these 2 schools, but usuaully there is something about their games. I know they have had some much talked about games in eveything in the last couple of years (softball, baseball, volleyball), that is why I thought it was odd that I didn't know they were playing.
