gold sunrise
Game recap from today's paper: “On our first three plays, we had miscues on all of them — we were in the wrong formation, we didn’t hold our block on the second play and then we didn’t have a guy blocking at the right place on the third play,” he said. “We got off to a bad start.” Clark’s offense struggled to gain footing and managed just 315 yards, including 129 yards in the opening half. Clark collected just 39 on the ground in the opening half. Despite a fumble and an interception, Scott County was successful on most of its drives in the first half. Scott County collected 400 yards, including 257 in the opening half, paced by Edwards, who collected 115 during the first two quarters. The guests managed 227 yards rushing in the opening two quarters. http://www.winchestersun.com/stories/2010/09/25/spo.400440.sto

MNCM
Congratulations to Scott Co. They played a ball-controled, well-executed offense tonight. Nothing too fancy, but took great advantage of the clock and seemed to have the right play at the right time. GRC just didn't seem to execute last night. Seemily sluggish, and out-of-synch. Confused with the choice of play calling last night. Hoping that GRC will rebound for the big game in Corbin next week!
