I am reading the schedules on the KHSAA website and it shows Bellevue with two weeks off. Is this true?

Sept 9th played Scott. Next game Sept. 24 vs Walton..............

If so is this a good thing smack in the middle of the season to go two weeks with no game???????????

This week is their bye week since they played in what the KHSAA is calling Week 0 so this isn't a two week layoff. They have 15 days between games and with the bye week, the only difference in their schedule compared to most schools is they played Scott High on a Thursday night and will play Walton-Verona on the regular night (Friday) which is where the extra day comes into play. Don't see where it is anything different with other schools who have a week off during the season because of playing in Week 0.
