Highlands and NCC have played two matches so far this year and they have been very close both times. Today the match at AJ Jolly resulted in a tie with HHS-Harris 39, Majewski 42, Bardo 42, Lynn 42 and Harret 40, NCC Miller 39, McDonald 40, Dupont 42, Brady (no sure of last name) 42. Final results tie at 163.

Is it normal to tie in high school golf?

 

I show NCC has three ties this year already!! That seems to be very high when you are taking 4 golfers scores into account.

Ties are not common in high school golf. In 9-hole matches, they can happen. In tournaments, there are play-offs for 1st / 2nd.
