hja1224
Ugly game from Cooper's side. After a tough loss to Conner last night the Jag's came out flat. Not to make excuses but Cooper had 4 positions being played by reserves or players moved off their primary position to get the reserves some time. The last I recall was 8 errors or plays that should have been made if the coach gave them a hit, a hit batter and a balk that scored a runner from 3rd. Also had another base running mistake by the runner getting thrown out at 3rd when the grounder was hit to short. No need to go with less than 2 outs and no one on first. I'm not sure Cooper could have won anyway unless one of the top 2 pitchers was on the mound and could shut HHS down because the pitcher from HHS, #3, pitched a very good game. He had a nice hard breaking curve that kept Cooper batters breaking at the knee's.
senior
#3 for HHS is Chris Rizzo who is one of HHS top players he pitched a great game and is also a great SS. Along with Sam Ligget HHS will do good in region. Hats off to HHS coach
Theoldguy
Congrats to HHS. Cooper is for real, so it was a good win for Coach B and his boy's of summer!
