Walk-off win in bottom of 7th by the Camels.

 

Nice pitching duel between Ryle's Gorbandt and Campbell's Rust. Ryle scores first and goes up 1-0. Campbell gets 2 unearned runs in the 3rd on 3 Ryle errors and takes the 2-1 lead into the 7th. Ryle ties the game in the top half of the 7th, scoring one run after the first two men were retired. In the Camel's half of the 7th, the leadoff man gets on HBP, is pushed to second on a sac bunt, advances to third on a groundout, and scores on a flair to RF. Gorbandt goes the whole way for Ryle and does a great job, as does Rust, who went 6 2/3. A couple errors by both teams, but overall a decent defensive game in some very windy conditions. Neither team hit very well, but credit goes to the pitchers, though Ryle is struggling a bit with the bats right now. Several key hitters just haven't found their groove yet, but its still early. Congrats to the little Etschied (Daniel), as he gets two base hits, both of them solid. No real hitting leaders to speak of in this game.

Good win, Ryle has a nice ball team.
