Ryle gets a walk-off win in the bottom of the 7th inning and wins the Knochleman - only the second non-CCH team to win this tournament in 18 years.

Hensley started for Ryle and went 4 innings, allowing only 2 runs. Ryle took a 4-2 lead after 4 innings, thanks in part to yet another Hoskins' HR (#3 of season). Hoskins was put out ONE time in this tournament. The kid is now hitting over .800 on the season and by and large crushes the ball every at bat. He continues like this - and of course, that would be impossible - he is the lockdown pick for Player of the Year in the 9th.

Matt Watson tosses two scoreless innings and Ryle takes a 5-2 going into the 7th inning. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your viewpoint :D), St. Henry goes on a hitting spree in the 7th, putting up 4 runs (including one dinger) to take a 6-5 lead.

In the bottom of the 7th, Ryle's Hensley and O'Bryan reach base via walks. They are moved to 2nd and 3rd via sacrifice bunt. Hensley scores on a perfect suicide bunt by Jake Steinle and then Ryle wins the game when O'Bryan scores on a fielding error by St. Henry. Isler gets the win, as he came on in the 7th and recorded the final two outs.

Hitting leaders for Ryle were: Hempel (3-3, 2 RBI); Hoskins (2-3, HR), and O'Bryan (long 2B). Ryle was held in checking hitting for the most part by St. Henry's pitcher (Zerhusen, I think), who throws very nice.

Ryle goes undefeated in the tournament, defeating Cov Cath (7-6), Conner (14-8), and St. Henry (7-6). Next up is Dixie on Monday.
