Well ladies and gentlemen, while I have some time between classes today, I figured that I'd break out the Hensley Rating System that I use for the state football playoffs and use it in the boys Sweet 16 just for the heck of it....being bored makes you think up some crazy stuff.

The begin with, I want to make it clear that this is NOT an official BGP ranking and this is JUST for fun...please remember that. Also, the results in this ranking system aren't necessarily how I personally think the games will go.

To refresh everyone's memory, the Hensley Rating System is VERY simple in theory. Take the Cantrall Rating (Herald-Leader) and add th Lit Rating (Courier-Journal) and divide the result by 2. The average of the two power ratings will now be the Hensley Rating.

In football, I factored in a 6-point home field advantage but since I don't know how much the "home" team should get in basketball AND the fact that this tournament is in Rupp Arena, I am throwing that factor out the window.
