The CovCath Frosh extended their record to 13-2 by beating a tough and talented Simon Kenton team on Saturday at CovCath.

 

Game was nip and tuck throughout the first three quarters but CovCath broke it open in the fourth quarter.

 

Sorry about not having the final score to post but that game was played at 1:30pm Saturday afternoon and it's now 1:43am Sunday morning. Been a long long day.

 

If I remember correctly #13 from Simon Kenton had a field day scoring like 19/20 points but the young Colonels played as a team and notched the victory.

 

The CovCath Frosh and JV play a double header this Tuesday 1/19/10 starting at 5:30pm vs Cincinnati Moeller @ CovCath

I beleive the final was 39-32 CovCath. SK was ahead by 2 with the ball when their coach was hit with a "T" that swung momentum. #13 is Geoffrey Johnson and he did play a very solid game, but SK was something like 4 for 17 from the free throw line which they have had issues with all year. That and lay-ups/bunnies!

Cov Cath has had a nice year and they seem to not have any real stars just 7-9 kids that all play well together.
