Raceland tourney

Cooper High cancelled this morning and will not attend.

It's a shame. Randall K. Cooper (the schools namesake) came from Raceland and the Boys wanted to play at his school.

They cancelled for the whole tournament or just for today? If they cancelled for the whole thing, would Raceland find someone to replace them?

Sorry, I don't know if the whole tournament was cancelled. When I called to talk to the Hotel the clerk and cancel my room he said the area was expecting 4- 6 inches and maybe more. Temps around freezing. Side roads were bad. Someone from the area could offer more info. Anyway, I guess the whole unknown of how the Cooper team would travel in those conditions was too much.

New information: Cooper is coming on Monday; 1200 game, 345 game and two games on Tuesday.

So who is playing today and what times?

Any updates from today's action?

I do know Cooper lost both of their games. Raceland beat them early today by right around 10 and they fell to Ashland later in the afternoon by nearly 25. Waggener beat Russell by right around 15.

Cooper did lose the first three games they played, but won the Game against South Floyd.
