The Bryan Station Lady Defenders (1-0) pick up their 1st win of the season at Lafayette.

■ Alesha Prince had 15 points and seven rebounds to help Bryan Station to a 57-48 victory at Lafayette. The Lady Defenders held Lafayette to 29.6 percent from the field and outrebounded the Lady Generals 43-26. Serena Sandusky chipped in with 14 points, seven rebounds and three blocks for Station. Ali Ross led Lafayette with 14 points.

Bryan Station was ranked anywhere from 7th-9th in the 11th Region pre-season rankings. (Scott Co., Madison Central, Franklin Co., Dunbar, Lafayette, Lex. Christian, Lex. Catholic, Tates Creek)

Look for this team to be in the mix at the end!

possibly. Or maybe Lafayette isn't as good as advertised. They are 0-2 with loses to Station and Anderson.
