NDA 2 St Henry 0 Girls Soccer State Tournament Sub-Section 5

NDA will play Burbon County HS at Stonerside Field (Paris, Ky) this

Thursday Oct 29th

Very good game! Evenly played first half ended 0-0. The second half started the same way but Notre Dame seemed to wear Saint Henry down a bit in the last 25 minutes or so. The first goal came on a direct kick by Tori Lange that slipped through the keepers hands. The second goal was a nice cross kicked in from about 5 yards out. Heather Shelton made the pass and Alexa Clark hit the goal. Definitely the toughest game in the tournament so far for NDA. Other scores may have been closer (1-0 over NCC and HHS) but NDA controlled those games throughout and was much more skilled player for player. Tonight was back and forth for much of the night and SH has as many skilled players as NDA. No doubt these were the two best teams in Northern Kentucky this season. Great season for Saint Henry! Good luck to NDA in their quest to bring the big trophy home to Northern Kentucky!

Nice work girls! Good Luck on the road to Georgetown!!!
