The Purples blitzed the Dragons with a ruthless 31-0 first qtr to win 51-6. SR RB Lavance Anderson ran for a TD and passed for another. SO QB Scooter Hollis threw for two scores and Chandler Sears ran 20 yards for another.:thumb:

 

Next for the Purples is the Backyard Brawl with Warren Central, which should determine the first seed for 5A District Two at Donaldson Stadium/Beard Field, Senior Night!

Great job guys!!! If you want it bad enough, it is all yours...you all have had a great season! We are proud of all of you. Not because of just the way you all are playing, but because you all are a great bunch of young men!

Looks like Grayson County took some of the wind out of our game with their 21-13 win over the Dragons last night. Even if the three teams tie for the district title with a Central win over BGHS, the Purples should get the one seed on points. However, I know that the Purples want to win it outright, so I know that they'll play their hearts out to win that game and then beat a very subpar Barren County team the following week!
