jeb stuart Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Meade and Marion srimmaged this morning. Both deffenses looked ok except for a couple 50 yrd.+ runs for Meade. Looks like Meade has alot of work to do before the opening game against Anderson in 2 weeks. 3 fumbles and 2 ints. This was our main problem last year, if we don't take better care of the ball, we will lose some games that we can win, especially the close ones. Marion is your typical Marion team, Big, Fast, and some play makers. They will be in the mix again when playoff time gets here. Also they are well coached. The highlight of both teams in this scimmage was their respective deffenses. Marion gave up 2 TDS and scored on a fumble return. Meades D gave up some passing yards but held Marions offense to a field goal. These games are great for finding out your strengths and weekness's. If Meade can eliminate turnovers this season, we will have a chance to be a good team at the end of the year. If not we will have a long season against one of the hardest schedules in the state which includes. Anderson Co. John Hardin Lou. Fern Creek Lou. Ballard Greenwood North Hardin Lincoln County Nelson Co. Central Hardin Lou. Butler If we don't get it together we could finish 0-10 against this schedule. Go Green!!!!:thumb:

Hard to tell at this point, Without Meades turnovers, they would have been the better team, but turnovers as you know will kill any momentum you may have. We have got to take care of the ball this year, or its going to be a long season.
