I listened to it on the radio some. Washington Co. was up 6 to 4 and Lincoln came back to take the lead in the 6th innning.

Congratulations to Lincoln County. They have worked hard and things seem to be coming around.

This win improves Lincoln to 6-3, which is the result of a 6-game win streak. Washington Couty had 6 runs on 7 hits (4 singles, 3 doubles), 2 strikeouts, no walks and committed 2 errors. They are a good hitting team (several line drives). They hit the ball really well last year in their win over Lincoln.

 

Lincoln got some big plays in the outfield as each fielder made really good hustle catches at crucial points in the game. They've got a young team this year, but the new coach is doing a lot of good work with them to teach them the game. They have had a few 'come-from-behind' victories this year, which shows they've got a lot of heart.
