Actually a closer game than I thought when I saw the score posted on KHSAA. Weird to say due to it being 38 point win. These 50 and 60 point victories are spoiling me:eek:. Anyone have any info, I didn't go to the game.

Hounds subbed begining the 4th up over 40 points. Young pups finished up and Coach P rests the big boys for the upcoming game at Wburg.

Ain't no stoppin the Houmds right now. They are on a ROLL. I remember when the Corbin/Harlan game used to be a good little rivalry.

Hounds are playing well. I think the players are on a mission. Maybe South Laurel did the Hounds a favor this year instead of breaking their hearts. Of course, I did hear Coach Denny humming we are the Champions by Queen while scouting one night at Gillium gym. He was sitting next to me in the rafters and I would have swore it was Freddy Mercury himself....the man never misses a beat or an OB under play either.

I can remember back when it was the Thomas, Cox, Jones, Lester, and Simpson bunch taking on, Pietrowski, McDaniel, Sipple, Bennett, and those boys too. You absolutely could not get a seat in the gym. One year Corbin and Harlan were ranked #1 and #2 in Kentucky. The next year I believe Harlan was #1 and Corbin was #2. Those games were great. Corbin vs. South Laurel couldn't even top those rivalries between Corbin and Harlan.

You seem to be fixated on Steve Wright and Roscoe Denney. Roscoe is one of the class act people in the coaching game and you painting a picture of him humming we are the champions is uncalled for IMO. You know all of the coaches in the Tri-County are class act guys and with it being just a couple of days before post-season, I'm sure all of the good coaches are focused on what is ahead and not humming We are the champions.

 

As for stayimg on the topic of this thread. Good win Corbin and way to go Coach P, coach Crawford, Coach McDaniel and coach West for an impressive 24 wins in the regular season.

Corbin could be 29-3 when March18 rolls around.

I thought you mentioned he liked Queen as type of music in an earlier post. Maybe Bubba is getting senile in his old age. Look back at your posts and see if I am correct. No disrespect to Roscoe. A bit of humor is sometimes needed to maintain sanity.....where has yours gone Les?
