Not like last week. Ludlow led after three, but Dayton kicked up the intensity and pressure and pulled it out. Dayton played sloppy, but give Ludlow credit, they game planned well and made some changed and played a lot better. Dayton will have to play much better Friday if they want to play with Newport.

Williamson seemed like he had another big game, he's been a lot more active lately. And the Hall kid hit a couple more big threes for Ludlow. Ludlow gets their best PG play out of Betz. I'd have him handle the ball more than Stegmoeller and Orr.

Massey had a good game for Dayton. Also Kraft hit some shots when they needed key baskets....

Kraft had 14 points and I was told at the scorers table that he was the story of the game. Ludlow takes a lead in the third quarter, outscoring Dayton 23-9, but Dayton returns the favor to drop 22 in the final quarter compared to 7 for the Panthers.

Dayton goes to 9-5 with the win. They've got some talent and in talking to Coach Dilts after the game, they all return next year. Dayton takes on Newport on Friday.

Kraft and Massey were both probably what you would consider the story of the game because they had both been struggling lately. It was important for those guys to get back on track.
