Today Beechwood and Dixie scrimmage two teams from outside northern kentucky. The proceeds from the scrimmage will be going to the Jim Shumate scholarship. He was the father of Beechwood head coach Rick Shumate. He passed away in July 2007.

Starting at 5pm today Beechwood will scrimmage Lawrenceburg, Indiana and then following that Dixie will be suiting up against Louisville Desales. Should be a great evening of basketball for a great cause. Hope to see a bunch of people there!

Good luck to both teams.
